Jiang Peilin is a famous supermodel in China. She has been a Buddhist since she was a little girl but she only started to understand Buddhism when she started working. She is a vegetarian and offers herself to help in a monastery every year. She would spend 5 days in the monastery to learn Buddhism and to do temple's chores like cleaning the compound, cooking etc. Peiling says, when she is the off duty, a buddhist beads is the only jewellery she wears. According to her Buddhism has given her strenght to overcome the pressure and resist temptations of the modelling and entertainment world which she is in now.
