Protest In Thailand : Reds Claim Victory

After yesterday's mass protest had ended, the Reds claimed physchological victory. The reds who have strong support from the poors in rural areas were happy that they had managed to gain support from the working class residents in urban Bangkok.

From the following photos, they did seem to have received strong support from Bangkokians but were the people there real supporters or merely onlookers cheering just for fun afterall, this protest did not look like a demonstration but more like a carnival. In a way, i think both the protesters and the police deserve credits for avoiding any confrontation or violence throughout the demonstration period.
