Born in England, Abhisit was educated both in England and Thailand including at the prestigious Eton College. He is the leader of the Democrat Party in Thailand , a former opposition party to the ruling party. Last month, the coaltion of the ruling party was dissolved by the court and the prime minister was removed. Known for his good looks, young and highly educated, Abhisit was seen as a person who would bring fresh changes to Thai politics. On December 15, 2008 ( just a few hours ago ), Abhisit was proclaimed as the 27th Prime Minister of Thailand.
