Dear Yip Man, I post those whose information i got from websites and other sources indicating that they are Buddhist or at least have shown some interest in Buddhism. Sorry if i have wrongly posted anyone here.
On the cross, these days, many non Christians and even some Muslims wear them as fashion accessories. Perhaps a few decades ago, we could assume a person was a Christian when he wore a cross but not these days anymore.
Thank you for coming to this blog. I hope this will not deter you from staying away from here. Have a good day
Deter me from staying away from here, of course not, in fact i find it very great that someone else beside me that share the same interest with me and i will always visit to give new information i have. Thanks Fhez for your information i really appreciate it, cause from what i know is that information like you said only apply for japanese people cause many of them is atheist and i really like your blog, when i surfing for internet for looking who else celebrities are Buddhist honestly i didn't hope much, cause you know nowdays many Buddhist is converted to other religion, so you now what i mean? Cause if you are looking for other religion celebrities i think there will be plenty of their websites or blogs. I hardly could imagine that i would come across a blog that contain Buddhist Celebrities, i really like your work Fhez keep it up ( really a piece of work you have their Fhez), i will also help you too if you don't mind: This is some Celebrities i know is Buddhist from either from web or newspaper you can surf it in internet Fhez if you don't believe: 1. Chen Kun (China) Actor. 2. Ricky Martin (U.S.A) Singer. 3. Jacky Chen (Hong Kong) Actor/Singer. 4. Andy Lau (Hong Kong) Actor/Singer. 5. Jang Dong Gun (Korea) Actor/Singer. 6. Chow Yun Fat (Hong Kong) Actor. 7. Takeshi Kaneshiro (Japan) Actor. 8. Steve Job (U.S.A) Apple CEO. 9. Francis Ng (Hong Kong) Actor/Director. 10. Jimmy Lin (Taiwan) Actor/Racer. 11. Alec Su (Taiwan) Actor.
Thanks Yip Man for reply. As you know Buddhism unlike Christianity and Islam is more of a philosophy. When one wants to become a Buddhist he/she doesn't need to go through proper conversion like what they do in Islam and Christianity. Many people especially Asian just call themselves as Buddhist eventhough they are actually practising a fraction of Buddhism, they practice more on folk belief, Confuciusnism, Taoism. All these people together with those who are not Buddhist but interested in Buddhism ( especially westerners ) i include them in this blog too. I try to be as accurate as possible but but sometime i could be wrong too or sometimes these Buddhists have converted to other religion. Yesterday i have so far removed 2 names from this blog because i found out later they had converted to Christianity. Thanks once again
