Gyalwang Drukpa Visits Vietnam

His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa 12th is paying an official visit to Vietnam from March 14- April 4 at the invitation of the Hanoi Buddhist Shangha. He was accompanied on his arrival by his Excellency Khamtrul Rinpoche the 9th Jigme Pema Nyinjadh and his Excellency Thuksey Rinpoche the 2nd Jigme Mipham Shedrub, Kunga Rinpoche, and 18 other monks.

His delegations and the Hanoi Buddhist Shangha will organise praying services for a prosperous and peaceful nation in provinces and cities including Hanoi, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Quang Ninh, Nghe An, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Lam Dong and Da Nang.

The services will be held in accordance with the Vajrayāna Buddhism regulations.

A charity programme entitled “Live to Love” and many activities to protect the environment, provide medical care to people and support the disadvantaged families, will also be implemented as part
