On June 3, the opening ceremony of the annual Ly Cong Uan 2010 Retreat for 2950 primary and secondary students was held in Lac Canh Dai Nam Van Hien resort in the province of Binh Duong in southern Vietnam. The retreat is named after a well known historical monk of Vietnam. The participating students come from 23 provinces throughout southern Vietnam, most of them are from rural places. During the retreat, these students will not only be taught Buddhism and meditation but also personal development skills, work ethics and even traffic rules.
