Little Soccer Match

( continuation from yesterday's post )

Two weeks ago, i posted about a group of little boys joining the monkhood for a short period in conjuction of Buddha's Birthday in Seoul, Korea and a number of the boys were seen crying during the ordination ceremony. Today, these little monks are no longer crying as they have settled down well in their monastic environment.

This very same group of monks were invited to play a soccer game in the Lotus Lantern Festival currently being held in Seoul. Last Sunday, they had a game with their non-monk peers as part of the activities of the festival. This soccer game was featured in the festival as the Koreans pray for their national soccer team success in the upcoming World Cup competition in South Africa.

Below are some photos depicting the antics of the little monks in the soccer match.
