Danai is one of the top tennis players in Thailand who has reached the ATP ranking as high as 77 back in January 2007. He is currently ranked 150 ( this week ). A few weeks ago, like many Thai men, Danai was ordained as a monk in a monastery in Bangkok for 2 weeks period. He said that his monkhood was to show gratitude and gain merits for his parents and at the same time to gain inner strenght and concentration to enable him to revive his tennis career.
