A famous actor in Hong Kong, as a kid, he was sent to a buddhist school. One day the teacher asked the students who would want to be buddhists, thinking that being buddhists meant he could go for trips, Francis raised his hands. From there he started to be exposed to the religion and adopted Buddhism with all his hearts. He even became a monk for a short period during in his early 20s, during the turbulent times of his life. When he joined a TV station (HK TVB) after his monkhood, he was still bald. Today he is still a devout Buddhist.
